Phil Moen
President and CEO
Phil has twenty five years of experience and executive leadership in software technology. Prior to Unimax, Phil led sales teams to achieve tremendous sales growth at Epicor, Softbrands, ROI Systems, Infor Solutions, and more. At Unimax Phil has led his team to develop incredibly simple, self-trained UC tools which allow the entire employee chain to manage complex telephony issues across many providers such as Avaya® (and Legacy Nortel®), Cisco®, Microsoft®, OpenText® (formerly AVST® and XMedius®), and others. Phil holds a B.S. degree in general business, sales and marketing from St. Cloud State University and is CPIM certified. Phil is an active athlete who competes in inline speed skating, running, hockey and water skiing. Phil has been married for a third of a century and spends what little time is left each day reading and watching movies with his family.
Teresa Bunda
Vice President of 2nd Nature Products
Teresa is responsible for defining, developing, and delivering product strategy for the company. Teresa joined Unimax in 1996. At Unimax, she has moved from lead technical engineering positions to managing various vendor business relationships to defining which products and services best meet the needs of the converged enterprise system management market. Prior to joining Unimax, Teresa spent 13 years at Unisys where she held lead positions in Engineering, Product Management, and Project Management. She holds a Bachelor of Arts Honors Degree in Math and Quantitative Methods from the University of St. Thomas.
Adam Derkey
Director of Cloud Engineering
Adam is responsible for the development of new cloud products. Prior to joining Unimax, Adam spent 17 years in software engineering roles, gaining experience in multiple engineering paradigms and technologies. He is passionate about empowered engineers, agile methodologies, continuous delivery, and distributed system architecture. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in computer science from the University of Wisconsin Eau Claire. Adam and his family enjoy the outdoors and are on a quest to visit every Minnesota state park.
Keri Heutmaker
Director of Finance
Keri is responsible for the accounting and finance activities of the Company, as well as the human resources functions. Prior to joining Unimax, Keri spent over 15 years in the public accounting industry with her most recent experience at a large national firm. During her 15 years in public accounting, Keri focused on technology companies and clients that had complex accounting issues. Keri received her Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from North Dakota State University and is a licensed Certified Public Accountant in the state of Minnesota.
Todd Remely
Director of Marketing
Todd oversees marketing at Unimax. He is responsible for developing and executing the company’s marketing vision and strategy, including advertising, lead generation, and public relations. Todd brings 12 years of marketing and business experience to Unimax. Before joining the company, Todd co-founded a real estate development firm and held various marketing positions at industry-leading technology companies in the enterprise software sector, including DataWorks, Platinum Software, Epicor, and Arena Solutions. Todd holds a B.S. degree in general business, sales and marketing from St. Cloud State University. Todd and his family enjoy alpine skiing and cycling.
Derek Wohlers
Director of Client Services
Derek is responsible for defining and executing a vision to provide the best possible post-sale service and support to every Unimax customer. Derek has a long history of successfully leading Client Service and customer success teams, managing customer accounts, and providing excellent support and post-sale experiences to customers at a number of organizations including Total Expert, Knowledge Marketing, MatrixCare, Stanley Convergent Security Solutions, and others. Derek holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mass Communications and Public Relations from St. Cloud State University.

Andrew Hunkins (Chairperson)
Founder and former CEO, Unimax and founder and CEO of BusyKeeper, LLC
Andrew brings a unique set of leadership experience to Unimax as the pioneer of Unimax’s industry-recognized application framework 2nd Nature. He is CEO of BusyKeeper LLC, recipient of the Deloitte & Touche Fast 500 Award, founder of the Andrew D. Hunkins Philanthropic Foundation, holds two patents for disparate-data synchronization and owner of Hunkins Entertainment LLC as the holding company for his entertainment related properties including his award-winning fiction novel, No Such Thing as Evil.
William Heidrich
General Partner, Star Capital Investment Partnership and General Partner, Hackmeyer-Heidrich Commercial Real Estate Partnership
Since 1991, William has been a successful private investment professional. Prior to starting his investment career, William was employed by the Memphis Brooks Museum of Art from 1986 to 1991 and served as its Director beginning in 1989. As the museum’s Chief Executive Officer, William was responsible for all aspects of museum operations. He is also a trustee at Bradley University as well as a general partner of the Star Capital Investment partnership and the Hackmeyer-Heidrich commercial real estate partnership.
Andrew Hitchcock
Senior Program Manager, Microsoft
Andrew brings over 20 years of experience in the unified communications and collaboration software industry to Unimax. Currently, Andrew is a Senior Program Manager at Microsoft in the Teams engineering organization. Prior to joining Microsoft, Andrew held positions at a variety of IT and communications providers including CDW, Berbee Information Networks, E-Volved Solutions, TDS Telecommunications, Technology Consulting Corporation, and Softmart. This experience has been primarily focused on providing architecture and other technical resources for Microsoft’s various communications solutions. This gives Andrew the expertise and background to not only support Unimax’s Microsoft strategy, but the organization’s overall UC strategy. Andrew holds a B.S. degree in economics from the University of Virginia.
Will Holmes
Associate General Counsel at Sword Health Technologies, Inc.
Will began his career with Gunderson Dettmer, a premier Silicon Valley based law firm, representing emerging growth companies and investors in corporate financing, M&A and public offering transactions. Following eight years of practice counseling companies and investors on all corporate matters, Will served for nearly a decade as General Counsel and Director of Business Development of giggle, Inc. a multichannel brand company and more recently as a partner in New Counsel, PLC a law firm serving as primary outside counsel to early stage technology companies and investors. Currently Will is an Associate General Counsel at Sword Health Technologies, Inc., a MSK telehealth company focused on freeing the world of pain. Will earned a J.D. summa cum laude from the University of San Francisco School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of California, Los Angeles.

B. Richard Vogen
Founder and former Chairperson and President, VocamSystems
Following a 20-year career with Control Data Corporation, Richard Vogen founded Vocam Systems in 1985, serving as its President and Chairman until Pitney Bowes acquired the company in 1990. He continued to serve as President of Vocam until June 1994. Since that date, he has continued his interest in early stage businesses, investing in and serving on the Boards of Directors of several such companies, as well as advisory boards, and performing financial, management and software consulting to a number of clients, including Pitney Bowes, and C. H. Robinson, Inc. He has been an active supporter of educational and student development programs at the University of Minnesota, Carlson School of Management and St. Olaf College and, from 1999 to 2008; served on the Board of the James J. Hill Business Reference Library in St. Paul, MN. Richard is also a judge in the Minnesota Cup, a contest for early-stage entrepreneurs to compete for startup funding. Most recently, he participated in the founding of the ‘Ole Cup’ (which is a similar organization to the Minnesota Cup) for students and graduates of St. Olaf College in Northfield, Minnesota.
