Application Representative (Software Sales Representative)
We are seeking an Application Representative who will be responsible for selling the company’s products and services. The Application Representative will spend considerable time talking with prospects, customers and partners to uncover sales opportunities. When found, the Application Representative will manage opportunities from beginning to end. The Application Representative will spend considerable time discussing the benefits of software technology in a telecom and unified communications environment. With Unimax’s extensive database, marketing programs and commission structure, motivated professionals have the opportunity to be extremely successful.
The Application Representative will work out of our downtown Minneapolis headquarters. This is a predominantly inside sales position with less than 10% travel required.
- Develop inquiries funneled from marketing through product fulfillment downloads, sales inquiries, and events into sales opportunities
- Work with partners to generate strategic relationships which result in sales
- Develop account plans for key accounts
- Conduct (mostly) inside sales with prospects, following company’s sales process, including generating and qualifying leads, assessing opportunities by understanding the client’s telecom issues and needs, demonstrating software, proposing solutions, and closing sales
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date information in corporate CRM system
- Conduct online meetings including software demonstrations
- Participate at various trade association meetings and events
- Generate prospects through cold calling and other marketing activities
- Meet or exceed quarterly sales quota
- Able to convey customer requirements to product management and product development teams
- PC proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio and collaboration software
- Must possess strong presentation skills and be able to communicate professionally to all levels of an organization
- Ability to effectively identify client business requirements
- Demonstrated ability to take initiative and ownership for solving problems and delivering on commitments
- Ability to prioritize and work independently
- Minimum of 5 years of business to business, quota driven sales experience with either a software or telecom organization
- Bachelors degree or equivalent strongly preferred

Technical Support Engineer
We are seeking a Technical Support Engineer to join our Client Services team to assist customers with using Unimax's UC Management Software Suite. This is a critical role in the organization, and a critical role for our customers. You will be a part of a knowledgeable and experienced team to provide best in class service to our customers, ensuring a successful installation of the Unimax's software and assisting with ongoing customer support.
The ideal candidate will be friendly, detail-oriented, have excellent communication skills, and be passionate about solving customer problems. Training will be provided. The ability to work independently, perform in multiple roles, and the desire to learn new technologies is required. The ideal candidate is also someone who is organized, and thinks like a Project Manager (e.g. is comfortable planning and driving projects to completion and/or resolution).
The Software Development Engineer will work out of our downtown Minneapolis headquarters.
- Assist customers with software installation, configuration, and training
- Answer customer support calls and emails, ensuring a positive customer experience, and driving to a timely solution for our customers
- Develop and write SQL scripts to help create workflow automation for our customers
- Document and communicate customer issues using our trouble tracking system
- Troubleshoot problems and communicate problem resolutions
- Resolve multiple incidents in priority order while maintaining high customer satisfaction
- Work with Product Development to recreate software issues, test fixes, and provide input for product enhancements and new features
- Associate or higher degree in computer science or a related field
- 2+ years customer service experience supporting software products
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical people
- Friendly and polite interpersonal style, and strong customer service skills
- Strong problem investigation and resolution
- Familiar with, or willing to learn, enterprise telephony and messaging systems from vendors such as Cisco, Avaya, Nortel, and Microsoft
- Microsoft Skype for Business and/or Lync Enterprise Voice knowledge a plus
- Proficiency in technologies including Microsoft Windows, network infrastructure, SQL and IIS
- Demonstrated ability to take initiative and ownership for solving problems and delivering on customer commitments
- Ability to effectively manage customer expectations
- Authorized to work in the US
