Unimax Introduces Newest Version of 2nd Nature at INNUA’s Global Connect Conference

Version 6.2 enhances support for Nortel, Cisco and Avaya systems

SAN DIEGO, June 12, 2006 - Unimax, the industry-leading provider of communications system-management software—today announced that it will unveil and demonstrate the newest version of its patented 2nd Nature® software at the International Nortel Networks User Association’s (INNUA) Global Connect conference in San Diego June 11–14. According to Andrew Hunkins, Unimax’s chief technology officer, 2nd Nature Version 6.2 provides feature and functionality enhancements for Nortel systems that also better meet the needs of the marketplace. “Spurred by increasing market acceptance of our 2nd Nature application framework as a way to streamline communication system management, we have added branch office/dual home phone support; support of unassigned DN list; and full support of IP phone system management, including creation, modification and deletion.”

2nd Nature version 6.2 provides the same enhancements for Cisco and Avaya systems. 2nd Nature’s consolidated system distribution list views, global list management capability, and record modification from external file inputs simplify system administration.

In addition, Unimax has expanded its migration support, adding businesses moving from legacy PBX and voice systems to Cisco CallManager and Unity systems. By automating data transfer from legacy systems to Cisco CallManager (v.3.3) and Unity (v.4.0), 2nd Nature reduces migration time from weeks or months to just days.

2nd Nature version 6.2 will begin shipping at the end of July.
